P.E.P Club celebrates Halloween

Posted

The October P.E.P. Club’s (People Enjoying People) annual picnic of hamburgers and hot dogs was rained out, but members enjoyed a chicken dinner instead. To prove that seniors can still have fun, some of the members dressed up for Halloween. The members that did not dress up voted on “Best Costume.” The year’s winner was Club President Norma Weeks in her “Sister Divine” habit.

The P.E.P. Club is a senior club for anyone over 50 and meets the last Tuesday of the month at the Recreation Center in the Industrial Area at 12:00 pm. Lunch is served and a program is presented. Bingo is played ($1.00 a card) if you so desire. Your first visit is free, and if you join, membership dues are $5.00 a year.

There is no meeting in November because of Thanksgiving and in December the club will meet the first Tuesday of the month.
