With a ribbon cutting and a line of patrons waiting to be the first in the door, the long awaited Ollie’s store opened its doors in the Ivanhoe Shopping Center.
Steven Smith the Ollie’s District Team Leader says, “Coming to Walterboro is a pretty big deal for us. We haven’t had a store between Charleston and Savannah, and it is great fill in with a store on I-95. Ollie’s mission is simply to sell good stuff cheap. We have great name brand products that we sell at close out prices up to 70% off of other retailers and these are named brand products that you buy at any other department store.”
Smith adds, “We’ve had people coming up to the door every day while they were building the store. But today, we have a great turnout for the grand opening this morning, the line is out into the parking lot.”
