History made at CCMS! For the first time in Colleton County Middle School history, Kylie Maxcey has won the 2026 Girls State Wrestling Tournament. This incredible achievement also marks CCMS’s first state champion in over 10 years, making this moment even more special for our school community. Kylie competed in the 92-pound weight class at Gilbert High School on January 28th, where she demonstrated outstanding determination, skill, and heart on the mat. We are extremely proud of Kylie for representing CCMS with excellence and grit. She is truly a Champion in Motion and a part of CCMS history forever.
Other members of the girls wresting team made good placements as well.
Alicia Guerra 2nd JV states sophomore
Kaylee Canady 4th JV states sophomore
