This Month’s Business Spotlight is on Bell’s Seafood. Bell’s Seafood has been is business on Robertson Blvd and is celebrating its 10th Anniversary.

Carole Bell started Bell’s Seafood when she was unemployed for a short time and needed to find something to do, her ex-husband had had a fish truck where he drove from place to place, selling out of the back of his truck. He knew fish and this site was available and we decided to start Bell’s Seafood.

Bell’s Seafood offers fresh local product such as crab and fresh shrimp from coastal South Carolina and a supplier from North Carolina that brings the rest of her inventory. Some of her offerings include; whiting, croaker, catfish, flounder, tilapia, and a wide assortment of shellfish. Some of the more exotic seafood they offer include octopus, frog legs, and alligator.

In addition, they offer the spices and mixes for all sorts of receipts and even oyster knifes for you cookouts.

Carole and Angie are at Bell’s Seafood to assist you with you seafood. Carole is originally from Ohio and came to Summerville and eventually Walterboro in 2007. Angie, who is camera shy, has been with Bells for 5 years.

Bell’s Seafood is open 11am to 5pm, Monday through Thursday, 9am to 7pm on Fridays, and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays.

In honor their 10th anniversary Bell’s Seafood is offing for the month of October. 10% off everything excluding Crabs.
