-Mrs. Williams is such an inspiration to me in both education
and faith. She showed me through her quiet and strong faith what a
woman in Christ can do. She is so caring for everyone and always
has a smile. I am going to miss her when she retires, but I know
that her work for Colleton County School District will continue
through those that respect and love her.
-I’ve known her for a long time. She was my principal at
Hendersonville before I became a principal there. She’s a great
leader, and I’m going to miss her leadership.
-She’s been a wonderful administrator. She has brought this
community together. She has been the epitome of a southern
lady at all times under all kinds of pressure. She’s always put the
children first, and she has always brought a sense of unity to the
whole Colleton County School District.
-I love Mrs. Jessica. I have known her forever. She’s a very huge
inspiration to me. I feel like I’m kind of following in her footsteps.
I went to Winthrop, just like she did, and then I’m coming back and
teaching at one of her schools that she taught at. I just love that I
got to be inspired by her every day.
-It has been a joy to work with her. I’m so proud of the
accomplishments she’s had a superintendent, especially since
we were on the brink of being taken over, and the fact that she
instituted programs and such to bring us away from that. Now we
have students excelling and that is an amazing thing. I’m going to
hate to see her go, but I do understand it’s that time, it’s her season.
-Mrs. Jessica Williams has been a blessing to the county. The
county needed her to step in and do a great job. She’s led the
school district greatly, and the kids are better off for it, and so is
the county.
-Lovely. You can reach her anytime with any concern directly,
so she’s so reachable and a very lovely person.
-When she says that it’s all about the kids, it has always been all
about the kids.
-Miss Williams has always been a dedicated supporter to all of
the teachers and students’ best interests here in Colleton County.
She is a great asset that we will all miss.
-I’ve enjoyed her being my superintendent, but she’s a real
special lady, she really is. She loves children and wants the best
for them.
-Mrs. Jessica Williams is one of the sweetest, understanding,
and respectful people I know.
-She is an awesome leader. I had the pleasure of being her
assistant principal at Hendersonville. The strategies, learning how
to get the culture together, and just everything she does. She’s
been wonderful. She’s a wonderful leader, and she loves everyone.
There’s nothing she will not do for a child.
-I absolutely love Mrs. Jessica. She has done a fantastic
job. She absolutely loves the kids. She’s very passionate about
Colleton County and everything she does. She is thinking about
these kids going forward. I am going to truly miss her. She has
been a diamond in the rough, and I love her, and I’m thankful for
everything that she’s done for us.
-When I told a former educator that Mrs. Jessica Williams
had been made superintendent she said, “She is the best thing
that could happen to the Colleton County School District.” Her
integrity is beyond reproach, and her loving care is what makes her
the exceptional leader and person she is. She will be sorely missed,
but is wished all the happiness that she deserves in her retirement
