Governor Henry McMaster to Attend Hampton Lumber Groundbreaking Ceremony in Fairfax, South Carolina

Hampton Lumber, a producer of sustainable building materials, broke ground November 5th on its state-of-the-art 375,000-sqaure-foot lumber mill in Allendale County. The project was announced on June 24, 2025. The company’s $225 million investment will create 125 new jobs.

Headquartered in Oregon, Hampton Lumber is a fourth-generation, family-owned producer of high-quality wood products sourced from sustainably managed forest resources. Operating nine sawmills in Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, and Canada, the company markets and sells building materials worldwide.
