Mr. Dennis Darrell Davis, Sr., 67, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Thursday evening, September 19, 2024, at Colleton Medical Center. Born October 18, 1956, in Charleston, he was a son of the late John Davis and Iris O’Quinn Davis. He was a retired maintenance worker, having worked at St. Francis Hospital and the Medical University of South Carolina. He also worked in land clearing. He always enjoyed fixing anything he could, tinkering with things, and was always giving a hand to anyone who needed help. A true family man, he enjoyed making his kids happy, loved for his family to be together, and was a wonderful, father, grandfather, father-in-law, and brother. He will always be remembered for the impact he made on everyone’s life. Surviving are: his children, Tiffany Marie Davis and her husband Epifanio Garcia of Walterboro, and Dennis Darrell Davis, Jr. of Walterboro; the mother of his children, Marie Davis of Walterboro; grandchildren, Tabitha Davis (Jeffrey Knapp), Epifanio Garcia, IV (Anna Harbison), and Faith Ashlynn Garcia (Angelo Ramos); great grandchildren, Jeffrey Lamar Knapp, Jr., Camden Wayne Knapp, and Mason Lee Garcia; and brothers, Larry Elsey and his wife Frankie of Walterboro and David Davis and his wife Pauline of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John Davis and Stephen Davis.
