CEO and President of Keep America Beautiful, Jenny Lawson was honored to present Dana Cheney, Executive Director of Keep Walterboro Beautiful, with the President’s Circle Award, and to announce Keep Walterboro Beautiful has achieved President’s Circle status for the Keep America Beautiful (KAB) 2025 reporting year.
Through this accomplishment, Keep Walterboro Beautiful has upheld the KAB mission, values, and vision. Keep Walterboro Beautiful maintains certification in the KAB national network through compliance with the KAB annual reporting and fulfillment of the other necessary requirements.
The Keep America Beautiful Presidents Circle is an esteemed recognition program that honors the outstanding achievements of affiliates within the Keep America Beautiful (KAB) network. This program celebrates organizations and community groups that demonstrate exemplary leadership, innovation, and commitment to advancing KAB’s mission of inspiring and educating people to take action every day to improve and beautify their communities.
The Presidents Circle Award was established to recognize affiliates that meet rigorous standards of excellence and demonstrate measurable impacts in their environmental initiatives. These include efforts in litter prevention, waste reduction and recycling, beautification, and community engagement. Affiliates honored with this distinction serve as role models, setting a high standard for environmental stewardship nationwide.
