APRIL 16
ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 3rd DEGREE: Three people attacked restaurant employees; also charged with open container, disorderly conduct, trespassing after notice
OPERATING UNINSURED VEHICLE: Traffic stop of vehicle without headlights and tail lights, vehicle found to not have current insurance or registration. Vehicle seized.

LEAVING SCENE OF ACCIDENT WITH PROPERTY DAMAGE: Driver of vehicle that fled the scene identified
APRIL 18
WEARING OF MASKS AND THE LIKE: Officers dispatched to a possible armed robbery in progress
DUS: Vehicle collision leads to discovery operator of vehicle was driving while license suspended
APRIL 19
POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE APHETAMINE; POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHENALIA; POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: Traffic stop leads to discovery, arrest of two individuals.
April 21
Disorderly conduct: Truck towing a modular home turns onto street restricted for oversized loads.
No S.C. Driver’s license: Traffic stop reveals driver unlicensed. Car towed.
DUS 2nd offense: Traffic stop reveals driver operating vehicle while license suspended, active warrant for driver; arrested and transported to CCDC.
Assault and Battery 3rd degree, malicious injury to animals, property ($2,000 or less), burglary (violent): Officers respond to call about two juveniles wearing masks and kicking in front door; a third juvenile running inside to assault another person; suspects fled scene but photographic evidence gathered. Victim sustained minor lacerations.
APRIL 22
Unlawful carrying of pistol, DUS (2nd and greater): Traffic stop of vehicle failing to maintain lane by swerving, yields discovery.
APRIL 23
Disorderly conduct: Male found on side of road, unresponsive.
Disorderly conduct: Subject found intoxicated, had been ejected from dining establishment, attempted to climb into seat of occupied vehicle and pull driver out. Transported and booked at CCDC.
APRIL 24
Obstructing justice, K9 track, indecent exposure, assault and battery 3rd degree: Male physically assaulting female, two others involved, plus victim.
Operating uninsured vehicle, K9 search: Traffic stop yields driver not having valid insurance. Vehicle towed.
Assault and battery 3rd degree, malicious damage to vehicle, incorrigible juvenile: Officer respond in reference to assault and verbal argument.
Counterfeiting: Victim (retail store) received counterfeit $50 bill.
Petit larceny (under $2,000): Officer dispatched to return phone call in re: stolen gun.
Possession of drug paraphernalia: Offender found in possession of approximately 6.28 grams of suspected marijuana following legal search of vehicle.

DRUGS: Vehicle stopped due to driver side brake light out. A probable cause was search of the vehicle was conducted due to a positive alert of K-9
DRUGS: Vehicle bearing Florida license plate stopped due to a brake light out
POINTING A FIREARM: Man reported ex-wife pointed a firearm at him
APRIL 16
DUI: Driver register .16% or greater, as well as unlawful possession of a handgun
APRIL 17
STOLEN VEHICLES: CCSO deputies were dispatched to a recycling company in reference to a complaint about two stolen vehicles being found on the property. Subsequent investigation revealed that the vehicles had been sold to the company by a separate individual and the company agreed to return the vehicles to the victim.
LARCENY: Employee reported stealing the night deposit from the store.
SEX OFFENSE: Report came in pertaining to criminal sexual conduct
PORNOGRAPHY: Cybertip received that child sexual abuse material had been downloaded to a dropbox. Investigation ongoing
FALSE PRETENCES/SWINDLE/CONFIDENCE GAME: Homeowner entered into contract to have in-ground pool installed. Owners of business have not delivered any component, nor completed any work other than digging a large hole. Homeowner already paid $57,000
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT: A John Deere utility gator reported stolen from work site.
APRIL 18
RECKLESS DRIVING: Driver placed under arrest.
DRUGS/NARCOTICS: CCSO dispatched in reference to a reported domestic incident. While enroute informed argument may be been over a stolen firearm. Subsequent investigation revealed a female in possession of stolen firearm, stolen cellphone, methamphetamine and more than 100 Schedule II prescription pills; also, marijuana. Female was arrested
STOLEN VEHICLE: Women reported her son stole her grandchild’s ATV. The son had no legal right to the ATV. It is believed he traded the ATV for alcohol/narcotics.
APRIL 19
VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Highway Patrol vehicle damaged by a fallen tree.
PORNOGRAPHY: Cybertip received the child sex abuse material was downloaded to a Snapchat account. Material was viewed and confirmed it is a video of a toddler being sexually abused. Investigation is ongoing.
APRIL 20
Drugs/Narcotic offenses: Traffic stop following a license plate check that showed tag was for another vehicle. Possession of methamphetamine discovered.
APRIL 22
Reckless driving, disturbing the peace: Three people driving ATVs flee when contact attempted. Found at a residence. One arrested.
Mismatched plate: Traffic stop yields that plate does not match vehicle.
Active warrant: Vehicle traveling 96 mph in 55 mph zone. Record check showed driver having an active warrant from Hampton County Sheriff’s Office. Arrested, transported to CCDC.
