The Colleton County boys’ basketball team participated in the Modie Risher Tournament last week in North Charleston. The Cougars finished with a respectable 2-1 record. The CCHS would drop their opening game to Collins Hill out of Georgia 59-46. Colleton County would then win their next two games defeating Eau Claire 71-34 and Ben Lippen 62-51.
The Cougars returned home to take on Stratford and came away with an impressive 82-65 win.
Mikell Gant is leading the team in several categories. He is averaging 13.1 points per game,2.8 assists per game and 2.3 steals per game.
Nick Williams is leading the team in rebounds with 6.8 per game and is shooting 50% from the field.
