Corvette Group Egg Hunt

Posted

The Corvette Group of Walterboro hosted its 3rd annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 23. The weather was questionable earlier in the day, but at the time of the hunt one could not have asked for better weather. Moderate temperatures, a slight breeze, sunshine, and a blue sky with white puffy clouds. It was a day tailor made for an Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Bunny was on hand for the festivities giving out candy to kids, hugs and high fives, and showed off his dance moves a little bit. The egg hunts were done by age group; ages 1-5, ages 6-10, and ages 10 and up. The eggs contained candy and some were marked for cash prizes. Also invited to the event was the Lowcountry Community Action Agency, Inc. They were having their Diaper Dash and also making families aware of the L.C.A.A. Headstart program and facilitate registration.
