The Colleton Prep baseball team defeated Orangeburg Prep, 5-4, behind the pitching of Bryce Kinard, who pitched five strong innings, striking out five while scattering three hits. Will Cain pitched the sixth and Dustin Hadwin pitched the seventh, to secure the win.
The War Hawks were led offensively by Caden Crosby, with three hits and an RBI. Eli Rowe, Wylan Sheffield, and Haden had one hit each. Haden and Sheffield each had RBIs.
However, the War Hawks dropped a home contest, 6-2, against Patrick Henry. They were limited to just three hits. In contrast, Patrick Henry scored their six runs on seven hits, scoring two runs in the third inning and three in the sixth to secure the win.
The War Hawks were hurt by three errors commited.
