Colleton Prep hosted four middle schools to participate in a round robin jamboree. Those teams included Colleton Prep, Norwood Academy, Thomas Heyward Academy, and Hilton Head Academy.
According to Colleton Prep Head Coach Josh Craven each team played a round robin tournament style slate where each plays the other teams.
Norwood went 0-3, while Dorchester, Colleton Prep, and Hilton Head went 2-1, Creating a three-way tie for first. Coaches drew lots out of a hat in which Hilton Head drew the number one seed. Dorchester would defeat Colleton Prep for second place while the Hawks would finish third by defeating Dorchester Academy for third place.
Coach Craven said he was “pleased with the effort and it was important see the areas we need to improve before we start the season.”
