The Fire-Rescue Explorers celebrated their 16th year and enjoyed a dinner at their bi-monthly meeting on November 14th. The adult leaders prepared the meal. After eating the explorers faced off against the adults in kickball, the group battled in a game of kickball with the Explorers vs the Adults.
The Explorer Program is open to anyone between the ages of 14 and 17. Explorers learn firefighting and emergency medical skills. They are allowed to attend some SC Fire Academy courses after reaching age 16.
