ROMEO EDWARDS
The Colleton Middle School Track and Field team recently competed in the County Championship match held at Whale Branch High School. For a program only in its second year, some of the athletes made history.
Jacob Singleton took home two medals: a gold in the 110 millilmeter hurdles, and a bronze in the long jump. overall.
On the girls squad, Alayshia Green also took home two medals: gold in the 100 millimeter hurdles, and a team bronze in the 4x1 relay. The other girls on the team relay were Jah’Nyiah White, Keynasha Manigo and Ar’Monie Goodwin.
