An adult female was injured in a reported drive by shooting incident on November 20th on Strawberry Farm Rd. in the Johnsville Community north of the Town of Smoaks. The assailants shot a mobile home multiple times from the roadway. One round struck a young woman in the head. Sheriff’s Deputies arrived at the location and secured the scene. Colleton County Firefighter-Paramedics treated the woman at the scene and requested a medical helicopter. Fire-Rescue transported the patient to a field in Smoaks to meet with the CARE Flight helicopter and flown to the Trauma Center at Trident Hospital in North Charleston. The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
