Walterboro Fire Department and Colleton County Fire-Rescue were busy on Wednesday January 31st. Two separate accidents occurred on Bells Hwy, the first happening around 10am in front of Family Dollar. The second occurred at the intersection of Bells Hwy and Briarwood Circle Wednesday afternoon. An adult male was transported to Colleton Medical Center with a possible head injury The man was treated at the scene prior to transport. The Walterboro Police Dept. is investigating the accident.
