A 24-year-old Beaufort County man, Carson James Wohlwend, died in a single vehicle accident on ACE Basin Parkway at Green Pond Hwy. 911 was notified of an overturned pickup truck. Colleton County Fire-Rescue arrived to find a pick-up truck overturned in the ditch at the tree line. The truck suffered heavy damage and appeared to have been at the location for some time. Firefighter-Paramedics found one person who was not wearing a seat belt deceased. Wohlwend suffered multiple traumatic injuries. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
