Bank of the Lowcountry welcomes Kilpatrick

PRESS RELEASE. The Bank of the Lowcountry announces Carl Kilpatrick as the company’s new Executive Vice President.

He will lead the bank’s growth in Jasper County and the bank’s expansion into Beaufort County.

“Carl is a great homegrown talent. I’ve known him for more than 20 years, and we couldn’t have hired a better guy to help us grow and be successful in this important market,” said Bank of the Lowcountry CEO Marc Bogan. “He’s worked in this market most of his career, and he is very connected and highly regarded in this area. He is a true community banker.”

With more than 28 years of banking experience, Kilpatrick is actively involved in the Beaufort and Jasper County communities, serving as a current board member for the United Way of the Lowcountry, the Southern Carolina Regional Development Alliance and the St. John’s Lutheran Church Council. He also is a volunteer at the Good Neighbor Free Medical Clinic.

Based in Walterboro, Bank of the Lowcountry provides a variety of traditional and online banking solutions to meet the needs of customers throughout the Lowcountry.
