The Colleton County Arts Council has welcomed its new executive director, Tara Langdale.
Langdale is a creative leader with a proven ability to turn vision into execution. Since 2013, she has built a career as a content creator, developing a strong digital presence through brand development, visual storytelling, and audience engagement, which led to the successful launch and operation of her brick-and-mortar storefront on Main Street prior to covid. With a background rooted in entrepreneurship, creative direction and project management, she has also served in roles as a project administrator and coordinator, consistently delivering high-impact initiatives with structure and precision. An active member of the Walterboro community, she is a strong supporter of small business and the arts while raising her 4 children, bringing both professional expertise and a personal commitment to investing in the next generation.
The Colleton County Arts Council hold classes for all ages and events such as the Polar Express for the children. The council hosts birthday parties and is sponsoring a Golf Tournament on May 29th at Dogwood Hills. The Arts Council office is located at 367 East Washington Street.
