What to know about the upcoming Republican Presidential Primary

The Republican Presidential Primary is this Saturday, February 24th. The polls will open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. If you have a question regarding polling locations please go to scvotes.gov to find out where you go to vote. Precincts have been combined for the Presidential Primary.

The last day for Early Voting for the Republican Presidential Primary was, Thursday, February 22nd, at 6:00 p.m. Please note that the deadline to register to vote was January 25th.

At your polling place, you will be asked to show one of the following photo ID’s:

• Driver’s license

• ID card issued by the S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles

• Voter Registration Card with photo

• Federal Military ID

• US Passport

When voting in the presidential primary you may only vote in one primary. If you voted in the Democratic Presidential Primary held on February 3, you may not vote in the Republican Presidential Primary taking place this Saturday.

Below is a sample of what you will find on the ballot. The following candidates on the ballott have withdrawn from the Republican Presidential Primary.

-Ron DeSantis

-Vivek Ramaswamy
