A mobile home west of I-95 was left in ruins Wednesday morning following a large fire off of Sniders Highway.
Crews from Colleton County Fire-Rescue responded to reports of a structure fire. The house, located approximately one mile west of I-95, was well engulfed in flames, and the fire could be seen rising above the surrounding treetops.
The residence was located well off of the highway down a long poorly maintained dirt road. Upon arrival, crews found the roof of the double-wide mobile home had already collapsed.
