HOLY CONVOCATION IS BEING HELD by Kingdom Fellowship Nation of Deliverance through Sunday Oct. 4 at The City Church, 323 Francis St. Services start at 7:30 p.m. with morning sessions at 11 a.m. Thursday, Friday and Sunday.


DOCTOR’S CREEK Baptist Church will celebrate its 183rd anniversary with a homecoming cookout and guest speaker on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 4 p.m. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and other trimmings will be prepared by the church. On Sunday, Oct. 25, at 11 a.m., Rev. Archie Sharpe will deliver the message.

THE MT. OLIVE A.M.E. FOOD BANK food distribution is held every third Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at Mt. Olive A.M.E. Church, 285 Mt. Olive Rd., Green Pond.

A COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY, “HOPE (Helping Other People Excel), is open every fourth Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon at Light of the World Ministries, 321 N. Walter St.
