On the 18th of February the Walterboro Elks Lodge went to the Southeast District Hoop Shoot in Charleston S.C. The Walterboro Lodge # 1988 had a great showing.
The first-place winners were:
Boys 8-9 division: Jamiir Koger
Boys 12-13 division: Sam Witkin
The Second-place winners were:
Girls 10-11 division: Ava McDonald
Girls 12-13 division: Allyson Scott
Jamiir and Sam will compete in the State Hoop Shoot which will be held in Orangeburg, SC. on the 3rd of March 2024.
I want to thank the parents and all the Lodge members who went to Charleston to support these kids. Everyone showed great Sportsmanship.
