Colleton County School Board held their Policy Committee Meeting. Charles Murdaugh called the meeting to order. Items discussed at this meeting included:
1.02 Policy BD: Organization of the Board
This policy was discussed in the past but needs to be addressed again due to the previous vote resulting in a tie. The issue will be put back on the agenda.
1.03Expense Authorization and Reimbursement
Discussion included need for clarification and tightening up the language concerning travel/lodging policies for district employees. The item was put on hold pending attorney review.
Office of Communications is working on templates in order to streamline the district website.
The Office Safety and Security is working with the Office of Federal Programs by providing discipline information regarding a grant possibility for Colleton County High School and Colleton County Middle School.
