On Saturday, Dec. 10 the Colleton County Arts Council sponsored its annual “Polar Express” event.
Many volunteers that played the roles of conductors, Santa, and the Grinch. The Rice Festival train was on location, along with an old fire truck from the Walterboro City Fire Department.
Music helped set the mood for the occasion while visitors could also view a Lego train and Walterboro City display. Some volunteer high school students painted faces and helped with crafts.
The Colleton County Arts Council extends its thanks to all the volunteers that helped contribute to a successful event. Many thanks also go out to all those who attended and to the community for their support.
