The Band of Blue will perform in the Endymion Mardi Gras Parade in New Orleans, Louisiana on Saturday, February 10th. This will be the fifth time the Band of Blue has marched in this prestigious parade through downtown New Orleans. The Band of Blue will leave February 6th and return to Walterboro on February 11th.
Band of Blue members Zoe Buckner, Sean Nunez, Jada Christian, Princeton Brooks, Zion Sanders and Caleb Creel. were named to the SCBDA Region Honor Band. Students will perform February 23-24 at the Charleston School of the Arts.
The Band of Blue Varsity Winter Guard and Winter Percussion Ensemble placed 1st at the Carolina Winter Ensemble Association Premier South Competition. The Band of Blue JV Winter Guard placed 2nd in their division. Colleton County hosted the event with over twenty-five groups attending from all over South Carolina.
