SCDOT Commission approved during their meeting Thursday, May 18, 2023 to add an additional $775 million to a previously invested $2.8 billion in pavement improvements across the state.
Includes the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Major Roads/Primaries, Farm to Market Secondaries, and Neighborhood Streets.
An additional 1133+ miles of paving projects contained in the 2022-2023 Pavement Improvement Program will be added to the previously approved 5,038+ miles of paving projects advanced since the implementation of Act 40 of 2017 and incorporated into the “New Gas Tax Trust Fund” transparency and accountability reports.
