People are in trouble. Some people are trouble. Many people are problematic and difficult.
There are so many various “groups” and associations that are not uniting our country. Citizens are divided because of politics and self-serving politicians. Many of the people making a lot of noise are just doing that … making noise and not much sense.
You can’t convince the average American that riots and violence ever end with the good of society and bringing a culture into a brighter and better day. Some of the factions within our society are doing far more harm than good. When an individual’s choice of whose life matters determines whether or not we can remain civil or not— or whether one of us ends up on the wrong side of an attack — brother, we have serious issues.
The universal fact is that every single person has everlasting value and their eternal life matters. These lives do matter … their additional peripheral causes may or may not … but their individual lives do matter, whether black, blue, unborn, all, etc. So, how can these opposing sides and various viewpoints come to an agreeable common ground? Jesus gave us the answer in the Word of God (as He always does.) There is hope for this lost and dying world! I submit to you this new mantra under which we all should stand united (although it is as old as the Bible itself) — YLM.
Y - Your
L – Life
M – MATTERS
That’s right! YLM. Whether you agree or disagree with any other highlighted group or not, you need to know that YLM.
Whether your political party wins or loses in November, YLM. Whether or not any other lives-matters cause succeeds in its mission or not, YLM. YLM to God — He created you and loves you and wants to forgive you and save you. Jesus Christ wants to give you a new and abundant life. Turning your life over to Christ is the beginning of a wonderful relationship with God and the promise of forgiveness and eternal life in Heaven.
There is already too much hate and division in the world today…you are an eternal soul, living in a body, and your life matters to me. There’s nothing like understanding this reality, YLM to me. That is why I am writing this article today and why I am intentionally reaching out to you with the love of Jesus and His promise of salvation. You have made plenty of mistakes (as we all have) but through Christ, you can be forgiven, and I consider it my honor to tell you that truth.
You may or may not agree or appreciate my political views, and I understand that freedom we share … to agree to disagree. You may or may not approve of my lives matter associations … that is irrelevant in light of eternity. I trust however that you will be at least interested in your life (whether you like it or hate it, your life is of interest to you.)
Turn to Jesus Christ today and trust Him today as your Lord and Saviour. If I can help you with this eternally important decision, contact me today. Jesus loves you and He did something about it. Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose again from the dead to offer to me and you the opportunity to become a child of God and be forgiven of all your sins. Will you put your faith in Jesus alone to be your Saviour and Lord?
