The South Carolina Elks Association held their annual Elks State Hoop Shoot on Sunday, February 27 in Columbia. Two local athletes competed and placed in the state competition. Michael Witkin captured first place in the 12-13 age division after shooting 21-25 on the day and was recognized for being the top overall shooter in the competition. Brooklyn Stuart finished second in the 12-13 age division.
Witkin will advance to the Elks Regional Semi-Finals, March 18-19, 2022, in Valdosta, Georgia.
