Mrs. Faye Cook Williams, 78, of Lodge, entered into rest Monday morning, February 10, 2025, at her residence. She was the loving and devoted wife of fifty-seven years to the late Mr. James W. “Jimmy” Williams, Sr. Born February 7, 1947, in Lodge, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late William Jackson Cook and the late Wilma Nettles Cook. In 1970, her husband purchased, and together they successfully operated the iconic N and W Grocery at Stephens Crossroads in Lodge. She also alongside her husband and sons, owned and operated Williams Farms which had operations in South Carolina and Florida, both of which they dedicated their entire life. She was a lifelong member of Carters Ford Baptist Church and will be fondly remembered for the love she possessed for her family and dogs. Surviving are: three sons, James W. Williams, Jr., and his wife Lisa, Mark Williams and his wife Lynn, and William Anthony Williams and his wife Nicki, all of Lodge; five grandchildren, Jose Cisneros, William “Will” Hall and his wife Blair, William Anthony Williams, Jr., Storm Rogers, and Summer Evans; a brother, Charles Cook of Ruffin; and a sister, Raye Cook Murdaugh of Walterboro. She was preceded in death by a sister, Minnie Cook Breland. The family will forever be grateful to her devoted caregivers, Bernice Perry, Oretha Drain, and Madeline Perry; as well as Edisto Hospice. The family has requested that memorials be directed in her memory to: Carters Ford Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, Post Office Box 1, Lodge, South Carolina 29082. Funeral services were held 11 o’clock Friday morning, February 14, 2025, from Carters Ford Baptist Church, 6581 Lodge Highway, Lodge. The Reverend Dr. Robert Craven and The Reverend Spencer Brotherson officiated. Interment followed in the churchyard. Arrangements By: The Brice W.
