 Mr. William “Billy” Turner Jr. passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro. He was 78.Billy was born in Philadelphia, PA November 14, 1942 a son of the late William Turner Sr. and Roberta Kirkpatrick Turner.  He graduated from Walterboro High School, and then joined the United States Air Force, serving in the Vietnam War.  He was a retired mechanic for both General Electric and Upchurch Forest Products.  Billy enjoyed collecting coins, and was a devoted member of the Walterboro Elks Lodge #1988.  He will truly be missed.  

He is survived by his brother David Turner (Sharon) of Elgin, and nephews Chris Turner (Erin) and Michael Turner (Candice Radford).  He dearly loved his great niece and nephew Madison and Caden.

Due to the current situation that exists in the nation, state and county with the coronavirus pandemic, the family will conduct a private graveside service at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Walterboro.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home of Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
