“Defensively, I thought we did a good job of getting to the ball,” said Langdale. “We had a few missed assignments that came back to hurt us, but overall, I think we learned a lot tonight about how good our defense can be. Gus Warren had a really good game tonight at defensive end and made a lot a big plays for us. Noah Catterton also stepped up tonight on the defensive line and made some big tackles.”

“Offensively, Drew Murdaugh and Jacob Breland ran the ball hard all night,” said Langdale. “Freshman Cole Davis is settling in at quarterback and getting better each day. Our offensive line Is very young but is really getting better each time they take the field.”

Colleton Prep will face Dorchester Academy Friday Sept. 18 in the PRTC Bowl set to begin at 7:30 p.m. in St. George.

“We just got to come out this week and have a great week of practice in preparation for Dorchester Academy,” said Langdale. “I feel like if we clean up some of our mistakes we can have a good game Friday night.”
