War Hawk Wrestling participates in SCISA Individual Championships

Colleton Prep Academy recently competed in the SCISA Individual State Wrestling Championships. The match was held on Saturday, February 13 at the Sumter County Civic Center. 

CPA Wrestler Keith Randolph (106) went 2-2 on the day and finished fourth in the event. 

Other wrestlers participating who also went 0-2 on the day including 113 - River Padgett; 120 – Madden Lemacks; 126 – Cayson Warner; 132 – Robby Carelock; 138 – Nicholas Blubaugh; and 152 – Ryan McMillen. 

“It was great to get experience at the state level for our young team,” said CPA Wrestling Coach Packy Burke. “I see lots of potential from our eighth graders and I am looking forward to next year with our more experienced wrestlers. This was a season to remember.  

“Thank you to all the parents and family that supported us this year,” he said. “It means a lot to the kids and me. I see a lot of promise for the future. Remember, the best way to get better is wrestling in the off-season.”
