The Colleton Prep Golf team finished in first place (203) in a three-team match that included Colleton County High School (220) and Goose Creek (237) held Monday March 9 at Dogwood Hills Golf Course in Walterboro.
War Hawk results included: Clay Griffin – 49, Nick Harvey – 47, Jacob Barrett – 52, Francis Blubaugh – 59, and Will Dandridge – 55. Colleton County’s results were as follows: Trystan Smoak – 50, Jacob Miron – 50, Kyle Kelly – 54; Logan Bailey – 65, and Brian Ketchum 72.
Earlier this season, the War Hawks traveled to a SCISA Region I-AA match held at Parris Island in Beaufort where they finished in third place with a team score of 211. Beaufort Academy earned the top spot shooting 183 and Holy Trinity finished second with a score of 208. Individual results included: Clay Griffin – 55, Jacob Barrett – 54, Nick Harvey – 48, Will Dandridge – 54, and David McMillan – 67.
