The Colleton Prep Varsity Baseball team earned a 15-1 victory in the regular season opener against Palmetto Christian Friday, February 28.

Jordan Crosby recorded the win for the War Hawks, allowing two hits, one run and striking out eight across four innings of work. Brad Strickland threw two innings of relief, allowing one hit and striking out six.

Colleton Prep’s offense totaled 10 hits on the day with Strickland, Pete Peters, Mason Jolly and Connor Morris all collecting multiple hits. Kyle Hooker had three stolen bases in the game.

The rainy days played havoc with the War Hawks’ schedule over the last week and a half, but they plan to be back in action Tuesday March 17 versus Hilton Head Prep at home beginning at 5 p.m.
