The Walterboro Rotary Club held its annual Ireland Creek Bridge Run on Thursday October 10, 2024 at 6:00 pm. The run is a one-mile timed loop around West Washington Street Bridge and Forest Hills Road Bridge in downtown Walterboro along Ireland Creek. This year’s event raised over $5000 to support Rotary International efforts and our local First Steps program and to provide a scholarship for USC-Salkehatchie. Each race participant received a towel and chicken bog dinner following the race. The Walterboro Rotary would like to thank all participants and sponsors who helped make this year’s event a great success.
