Dustin Fuller, the new general manager of Walterboro Ford, is happy to announce the Re-Grand Opening of Walterboro Ford a Walterboro institution for 105 years. Fuller said, “We just redesigned three quarters of building. We worked our way through parts and sales. Parts hired a new staff, and redesigned the entire building, and we are working our way through service right now with and a retooled service department and updated equipment. We just want to give people a better buying experience.”
The dealership is offering remote buying, free delivery within 300 miles, and discounts of $1,000 below invoice on most vehicles. The finance department now operates digitally. The dealership is part of a larger group owning three other dealerships in North Carolina. Fuller aims to integrate better with the community, sponsoring local schools, bands, and animal shelters. They plan to cover adoption fees at the Colleton County Animal Shelter and are open to community engagement.
There are still a lot of faces that people will recognize. Fuller says, “Robbie Peters is still here. Our service and parts department are relatively unchanged. We have the same service managers, technicians, parts advisors, so a lot of the same people.”
The Service Department has also seen changes. “We put in all brand new lifts for them to be able to work under vehicles, an alignment machine and new break lathes. We put in a 35,000-pound lift so we can work on vehicles bigger than F-550s that we were not able to work on before.
Fuller adds, “We really cherish the opportunity to work with the community in the neighborhood and see if we can take this dealership to the next level as Walterboro grows.”
