Congratulations to Chief John G. Creel for receiving the Business of the Year Award for the 5th Annual SC Indigenous Business Day for Edisto Indian Free Clinic and Walterboro Adult and Pediatric Medicine. Dr. Creel is the Chief of the Edisto Natchez-Kusso tribe. His practices have been in the community for many years and have helped countless Colleton County residents over the years.
According to Mota Crosslinking Business Academy, SC Indigenous Business Day is an annual celebration organized by (MCBA) and the president and founder Vanessa Mota to honor and recognize the significant contributions of Indigenous business owners and community leaders in South Carolina. This unique event features a blend of culture, food, music, the readings of proclamations written by our staff for different counties and awards, creating a festive atmosphere that highlights the economic impact and achievements of the Indigenous community. The day includes the reading of proclamations by local government officials, acknowledging the importance of these businesses to the state’s economy.
Thank you, Dr. Creel for your dedication to the people of Colleton County and the healthcare they receive.
