Mr. Howard Robert Waldrop, Jr., 77, of Mashawville, entered into rest Monday morning, May 20, 2024, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. He was the husband of thirty-eight years to the late Mrs. Melissa Kay Waldrop. Born February 12, 1947, in Atlanta, Georgia, he was a son of the late Howard Robert Waldrop, Sr. and the late Edna Waldrop. Having resided in Memphis, Tennessee before making Mashawville home in 1992, he began a career in Sales with Walterboro Motor Sales where he was a beloved icon to our community and worked diligently until his retirement. He was a member of Jacksonboro Baptist Church. Surviving are: three children, Samantha Kizer (Dale) of Walterboro, Trey Waldrop of Mashawville, and Jordan Waldrop (Jennifer) of Walterboro, a sister-in-law, Becky Jones (Geoffrey), four grandchildren, Ashely Goettee, Evan Kizer, Tanner Kizer, and Ellie Waldrop; a niece, Katy (Sam); and a great nephew, Rowan. A private graveside funeral service was held with his family Friday in Jacksonboro Baptist Churchyard. Arrangements By: The Brice W.
