The Market Place Café, located in the Colleton Museum, will host Christian author and minister Angela Wade for a book signing on November 27th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
A native of Islandton, Wade will be signing her book “Bread of Heaven,” a Devotional Prayer Journal released on Amazon.com. The book signing will take place at the café at 514 East Washington Street in Walterboro.
Presented by Destiny House Publishing, LLC, “Bread of Heaven” Devotional Prayer Journal is a 52-week devotional book. Each weekly devotion has included scriptures, a message, a prayer, reflection questions, and tasks to help each individual strengthen their relationship with God.
“It is the spiritual food that God has provided to nourish souls and feed spirits. I think the best part of the book are the weekly tasks. These tasks will allow each reader to fully engage with God during their scripture readings and help them to put their faith into action,” said Wade.
Wade holds an MBA from Webster University and a B.S. from the University of South Carolina. She is the daughter of David and Cheryl Williams and Danny and Marilyn Wade, and the granddaughter of Vander Williams Jr. She is married to Lieutenant Colonel Dwayne Wade and has two sons, Donovan and David. In January of 2014, she said she felt called to write a book to teach His Holy Word to others. Busy being a military wife and mother of two young boys, she began to notice that God was helping her better manage her time to go into the ministry and write her book.
“My prayer is that each person really does feel God’s voice and presence in their readings and gain the full experience of Him through the “Bread of Life” Devotional,” said Wade. “Come on out and bring your books to get autographed.”
