Brice Herndon Funeral Chapels and Crematory

Mrs. Victoria Ann Scites, known by all as “Vickie”, age 67, of Round O, entered into rest Saturday evening, September 1, 2021, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.

Born February 24, 1954, in South Charleston, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Charles Robert Davis and the late Mitzi Sue Coburn Davis. She made the Lowcountry of South Carolina her home in 1983 and was a dedicated employee of the Walterboro Bilo where she worked in the bakery and floral department.   Baking was a large part of her life but the most important thing to her heart was her family.

Surviving are: her husband, Mr. William Scites; four children, Patti Dessoye (Bernie) of Walterboro, Angela Dawn Pruitt (Darrius) of North Carolina, Christopher Brian Scites of West Virginia, and Henry Howard Scites (April) of West Virginia; fourteen grandchildren, Matthew Scites, Jordan Scites, Tyler Scites, and Clarence Scites, Thomas Dessoye, Alleigh Dessoye, Laikyn Berry, Dorothy Dessoye, Jayden Scites, Abriana Berry, Shayla Scites, Draven Pruitt, Jahslyn Pruitt, and Alisa Scites; one great grandchild, Rylee Scites; three sisters, Deborah Payne, Donna Backett and Sharon Larck (Charlie); and five nieces as well as four nephews.   She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence G. Scites, Sr. and a son, Clarence G. Scites, Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted 6 o’clock Wednesday evening, September 8, 2021, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The Reverend Daryl Hunt officiating.    The family will receive friends following the funeral service.
