The American Freedom Tribute came to the Veterans’ Victory House on June 27th and 28th. The traveling tribute is a salute to all the fallen service members and MIA’s. The memorial is transported around the country for the public to view. The display shows the names, military branch, and war/conflict in which the veterans were involved. The Patriot Guard Riders, the VFW, Colleton County Sheriff’s Office, Colleton County Fire-Rescue, Walterboro Police Department, and the Veteran’s Victory House Buses, escorted the Traveling Memorial Wall from I-95 to the Veterans Victory House on Sidneys Road. The exhibit traveled to Walterboro on Thursday morning, June 27 and was set up on the front lawn of the Victory House. Many Veterans were in attendance to see this moving tribute to the military.
