An adult male was seriously injured after two pickup trucks collided at the intersection of Sniders Hwy (SC Hwy 63) and Cypress Pond Road Friday evening May 20, 2025, at 8:38 pm. The man was treated at the scene by Firefighter-Paramedics, but his condition quickly deteriorated. He was transported emergent in Fire-Rescue Medic 1 to the CARE Flight base. He was transferred to the Flight crew and flown to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center. The driver of the second truck was not injured. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the MVC.
