The Colleton County varsity girls basketball team fell to 0-6 on the season after a 55-35 loss to Beaufort High School on Friday Jan. 15 on the road. The Lady Cougars recorded 35 turnovers and 19 total fouls in the contest.
Makayla Chisolm led the Lady Cougars with 12 points in the game. Shandi Brown added 8 points for Colleton County. Other scoring included Bethany Monroe 5, Heaven Green 4, Ashley Bowman 4, and Brianna Nelson 2.
The Lady Cougars were scheduled to host Palmetto Christian Academy on Wednesday Jan. 20 for a non-conference game before traveling to Region VII-AAAA May River High School on Friday Jan. 22.
