A truck driver died after a crash on I-95 Friday Oct. 30 about 6 a.m.
The S.C. Highway Patrol said both vehicles were traveling southbound on the interstate when the 2008 Volvo tractor-trailer hit a 2018 International box truck in the rear.
The box truck ran off the road and overturned.
The driver was transported to the hospital by Colleton Fire-Rescue.
The tractor-trailer also ran off the road, hit a tree and caught on fire. The driver, Dzevad Krso, 60, of Jacksonville, Fla., was pronounced dead at the scene. Autopsy results are pending.
