Mr. Jesse Matlack Townsley, Jr., 93, of Ridgeland, entered into rest Sunday evening, March 9, 2025, at the Veteran’s Victory House in Walterboro. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Dorcas Lamotte Townsley. Mr. Townsley was born November 7, 1931, in Reading, Pennsylvania and was a son of the late Jesse M. Townsley, Sr. and the late Carolyn Griesel Townsley. One of our beloved United States veterans, he served honorably in the United States Navy. He was the founding owner of Townsley Associates, a financial investment firm he operated successfully in Corning, New York. Private services will be held at the Beaufort National Cemetery.
