“Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.
Isaiah 45:22
In God’s kindness, He invites s to turn to Him. Included in this invitation is the gift of faith to believe that God is good and able to save us. If you believe that God is willing and able to save you, it is because God has given you the faith to be able to believe. God is reaching out to you. Will you respond to His kindness to you? This invitation is evidence of God’s love for you. Let God save you, by believing upon His Son, Jesus.
The Bible teaches that the living God of the Old and New Testaments is the only God. This makes a lot of people angry. Humanity would like to imagine a cafeteria of gods where we choose the ones we like and ignore the ones we don’t agree with. We prefer religion that centers upon ourselves and puts us in control of who reigns over us. That would make us the gods, wouldn’t it? This is silly. We do not select what gods are real and what gods are not. We cannot determine the weather, the orbits of celestial bodies, or even our own height or eye color. The Creator has ordained His creation without asking for our opinion.
If you are going to be saved, you have one opportunity: to repent and believe in Jesus Christ. If you would rather believe a lie, you have many to choose from. Would you turn to Jesus? Let God lead you into a place of repentance where your heart turns away from your sins. Believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died for your sins. Trust Jesus and live!
