The last of the great Fox’s X-men franchise has arrived!
In the final installment of Fox’s Xmen franchise, we find five mutants being held against their will in a compound by Dr. Reyes (Alice Braga). After the five realize why they being held there, they come together to escape.
Anya Taylor-Joy is the only redeeming quality of this movie. She steals the show with every scene she’s in.
The cast and crew of this film are some of the best in the business, but yet this film is littered with issues. The CGI was something out of a 90’s B-rated sci-fi movie. The plot is all over the place. It’s as if the cast and crew knew since this was the last of the Fox movies in this franchise, and they just didn’t care. When Disney purchased Fox, the heads of Disney wanted this film shelved. Now I see why.
Overall, this film is a letdown after an amazing two-decade franchise of films.
