Colleton residents can also visit the library in person or online and explore the world of books.

Children’s book

A great book for ages 0 – 12 is “Mice on Ice”, by Ed Emberley. He has written over 50 books, and co-writes with his wife. Three of his best stories are “Drummer Hoff”, “Go Away, Big Green Monster”, and “Mice on Ice”.

“Mice on Ice” is about mice who skate on ice. As they skate, their blades leave lines that depict a cat. Magically, the cat appears, in color, and three-dimensional. What happens next? Why, the cat and the mice skate together!
